For that reason, I thoroughly recommend you don’t just play this excellent RPG at some point in the future, but that you play Persona 3 Reload as soon as possible. 

Depending on your choice, you might gain points needed to increase the Social Link rank of that character. The number of points you need to reach the next rank is not specified by the game, save for vague affirmations when you interact with certain characters informing you that you may or may not get closer soon to that character. When you reach the max level, a new persona of the arcana the character represents is unlocked for you to fuse in the Velvet Room. Plus, when you fuse a persona, they earn more experience depending on your rank with their respective arcana.

The subtitle "Reload" was chosen Persona 3 for the abbreviation of "R" similarly to Persona 5 Royal, the definitive edition of the game. It also implies the meaning of a remake, but "Persona 3 Remake" was not chosen as it wasn't interesting. Aside from the abbreviation, Reload was specifically chosen as "RE" is commonly used in games, but to match the aesthetics of the Persona series, Reload was also picked due to the Evoker having the form of a gun.

Outside of dealing damage, Samael is also a strong debuffer with its Masukunda skill which lowers the enemy team’s Hit and Evasion. Samael can also grant your own party immunity against stat debuffs using Dekunda, giving the Persona even more flexibility in battle.

Along with showcasing more of the P3 remake's updated gameplay that's more in line with Persona 5's when battling Shadows, this latest peek into Persona 3 Reload also shows off a brand new BGM track that makes the game feel even more revamped.

Characters' melee attacks have been customized to have variety in amount of hits and the power each blow can deal. All melee attacks are divided in 3 stages, and the final attack in the final stage always deals a Critical hit.

An injury sustained during combat with a Shadow holds him back for a little while, but ever eager to get back into the ring, he soon recovers and returns to his place on the front lines.

A more exhilarating battle system and new graphics and gimmicks make Tartarus easier to explore. Dormitory life and community have also legitimately evolved!
